My 3rd birthday party!
June 1, 2002:
I went to Coney Island. I enjoyed the rides at the board walk, then I
made sand castle at the beach. I also saw many fish at the New York
Aquarium.
May 25-27, 2002:
I visited a good friend of mine Alexandre who moved to MA. It was fun to
play again.
April 22nd-May 7, 2002:
Mommy, Kazuki and I visited my grandparents in Japan. I went to the
close by park every day with Jiji (grand father).
March 31, 2002:
I visited Brooklyn
Children's Museum. I made my own herb tea bag and played many
games. I colored eggs at home.
March 30, 2002:
I played at a playground in the Central Park. I visited my neighbor's
rabbit in the evening.
March 27, 2002:
I went to an Easter party. I painted eggs and made a card.
Feb 14, 2002:
I went to a Valentine's Day party. I decorated heart shaped cookies and
made cards.
Jan. 31 - Feb. 7, 2002:
I visited my grandparents in Florida. I loved playing at the beach.
January 11, 2002:
I enjoyed eating mochi (rice cake) at a Japanese mochi party.
January 5, 2002:
I visited the New York Botanical Garden
in Bronx. I enjoyed the train puppet show. Kazuki liked it, too.
December 29, 2001:
I went to to the American
Museum of Natural History and saw many dinosaurs.
Christmas, 2001:
I loved opening up so many presents. I played with cousin Sarah and
Emily.
Thanksgiving Day (11/22/01):
I went to see the Thanksgiving
day parade in the morning. Kazuki was sleeping.
A night before Thanksgiving Day, 2001:
I went to the west side and saw all the huge balloons that are blown up.

I was a princess. I got so many candies.
Sept.18, 2001:
I went to the Central
Park Zoo and the Children's Zoo with Alexandre. A baby monkey was
cute. The show to feed seals was fun to watch. We also played at a
children's play ground at the park. Kazuki was sleeping.
Sept. 16, 2001:
I played at the Central park. Kazuki was sleeping.
Sept. 14, 2001:
Daddy and Mommy were lighting up some candles at 7:00 p.m. They told me
not to blow them up.
Sept. 8, 2001:
I visited Coney Island, NY for the first time. I enjoyed the big
waves at the beach. I also had a great time riding many rides at the board
walk. Kazuki was sleeping.
Aug.25, 2001:
I visited my grandparents in Ocean City, NJ. I enjoyed the beach.
Kazuki was sleeping all day. We went to the board walk in the evening. Daddy
took me to a very scary ride. I was about to cry.
July, 2001:
I decided to pick my own dress to ware. My favorite clothes are in green.
July XX, 2001:
My brother Kazuki was born at the same hospital
I was born!!!
July 4th, 2001:
I went to the Roosevelt Island to see the July 4th fireworks.

June 15, 2001:
My 2nd Birthday Party!
Many friends came to my party.
June 10, 2001:
I went to Corny Island beach with Daddy.
June 9, 2001:
I got a couple of red balloons at the street fair.
May 27, 2001: Fleet Week
I visited a couple of aircraft carriers outside of Intrepid
Sea Air and Space Museum and saw a parachute demonstration.
April 14th, 2001:
I had an Easter egg coloring party at home.
Feb. 14th, 2001:
I had a great time at Valentine's Day party.

I called my parakeet's name (Shiro). The other parakeet (Elvis) is still
too difficult to pronounce.

December 25th, 2000:My 2nd Merry Christmas.
* I enjoyed opening my gifts. I got a snow suits, a wooden rocking
chair, a toy stroller with a baby, an electronic Elmo toy, a couple of
books, a wooden animal puzzle, and a great blow-up tent with a tunnel.
* I called my aunt's + uncle's dog name (Pixie).

I like to jump off the couch and climb on the chairs.

Thanksgiving, 2000:
I didn't want to eat turkey.
November, 2000:
I say "Dakko." ("Pick me up and hold me" in
Japanese.) Often....
Halloween, 2000:
I dressed up as a black cat and visited my neighbors for trick or
treating. I would knock on the door... and stick both hands deep into the
bowl grabbing as much as I could (the adults thought it funny).
October, 2000:
I was in Japan for 1 week. I played with my grandparents' rabbit
everyday. I loved "nori" (Japanese
black dried sea weeds used for sushi rolls) so much that I brought the nori
container to my Oji-san (grandpa) every morning and asked him to open it.
September, 2000:
I went to the Bronx Zoo to see some gorillas.
August - September, 2000:
I often visited the Central Park zoos to feed the goats and to see my favorite
sea lions.
June, 2000:
My 1st birthday! I had a great BBQ
party. We had too much food.
May, 2000:
I can walk!
April, 2000:
I was in Japan for 2 weeks. The cherry blossoms were very pretty.
March 17, 2000:
I spread bird seeds on the floor and ate some (just like a bird).
March. 16, 2000:
Home-made yogurt tastes pretty good.

I let go of my hands and can stand for 8 seconds!

Can pick up Cheerios with 2 fingers and put them into my mouth.
Can drag myself forward to reach what I want.

Toasted bread is fun to grab.

Cheerios tastes great. I drop all

Can pull myself up and stand up from sitting position.

6th tooth has come out. Now I have 2
bottom teeth and 4 top teeth!

Visited the Mote Aquarium. Touched a stingray!
Mashed cooked carrots tastes OK.
Took over 20 steps with Mommy's help.
Jan. 2, 2000:
Took the first 3 steps while Daddy held my hands.
Visited the Jungle Gardens. Saw lots of big birds.
Saw my first sunset at the beach.
Jan. 1, 2000:
5th tooth has come out.
The beach was fun.
Dec. 30, 1999:
First airplane ride to Sarasota,
Florida.
Did not cry.
Dec. 25, 1999:FIRST CHRISTMAS!
Received lots of gifts from Santa at Grandparents' home in MA.
Loved Christmas lights and wrapping paper.

2 top teeth have just come out.
Dec. 20, 1999:
3rd set of shots at the doctor's office. Cried a bit. 19 lbs.

Mashed banana tastes OK.

Ate rice cereal, and did not like it.
Nov. 23, 1999: FIRST THANKSGIVING
Saw the first turkey. Parents' friends came over for dinner.

Rolled from my tummy to the side.

It's fun to grab Mommy's hair with both hands!
